LUCENA CITY — A farmer and his live-in partner were shot and killed on Saturday, Dec. 28, while sleeping inside their house in Lopez, Quezon.
The Lopez police said in a report Sunday that Armando Lapuz, 55, and Nelia Leona, 71, were gunned down while in bed in Barangay Calantipayan.
Their bodies, both with fatal gunshot wounds, were found around 7 a.m.
Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla led the Philippine delegation to the Middle East country during the mission that runs until October 15.

The report said the killers left aboard a motorcycle after the shooting.
